Wander down to tap to the tunes of SJK Jazz at Sip & Stroll on May 20 from 4-5 pm in front of the New Fairfield Library, 2 Brush Hill Road. Sip & Stroll is an annual event sponsored by New Fairfield Parks and Recreation. The Friends of the Library will participate in this event by presenting SJK Jazz whose musicians will play Great American Songbook and other well-known jazz standards. Stan Kishner (keyboard) and John Krieger (guitarist) met at a local men’s club in Danbury and discovered their shared love of music. They jammed together and began playing gigs. The addition of vocalist Wendy Matthews brought focus to their popular tunes, as well as many well-known jazz standards. So, sip, tap and enjoy. No registration required.
