We support our community by providing numerous museum passes to the library for children, teens, families and adults. Enjoy!

Books for Babies
We fund "Books for Babies" in the Children's Library. Any new baby member of the library will receive a special welcome book and gift to enhance their learning experiences on their first visit!

BookPage
BookPage is a monthly book recommendation guide made available to patrons through our paid subscription. Copies are available in the library.

Equipment Purchases
We finance computers, printers, furniture and other items to enhance use at the New Fairfield Public Library.

High School Scholarship Program
We annually award High School Seniors with a monetary scholarship towards the college of their choice!

Summer Reading Program
We provide funding for programs and prizes for the annual Summer Reading Program.

Grab & Go Craft Kit Program
Every Saturday, come pick up a Grab & Go Craft Kit in the children's library! While supplies last -- no registration is necessary.
Fundraising Events
Book Sale
We raise funds to support the library by having annual book sales. These allow us to earn additional dollars to offer more events and programs at the library for all ages to enjoy! Dates are in March and September.

Cookie Walk
Every year prior to the Holidays the Friends sponsor a Cookie Walk! Buy a box and fill it up with homemade goodies.

Murder Mystery
Our first murder mystery"The Mysterious Death of Bertram Stronge" was a huge success. Groups of 4 solved the mystery and won a prize! Stay tuned for our next one!

Campfire Songs with Music Julie!
Participants enjoyed some fun and funny camp fire songs with Julie. She even gave ukulele lessons!

We provided free ice cream from a local Ice Cream Truck to kick off the Library Summer Reading Program.
